About

Welcome to my blog.  This is a place where I use writing and photography to explore the world around me and to bump my ideas off the ideas of others.  All the photos I post are taken by me…most with my iPhone! You can also follow me on Twitter at  @kd0602.

      Hi Mark!

Thanks…and I hope to go 30 days in a row…and then find a regular schedule that I can maintain during the school year. Maybe a couple of days a week. (Any advice?)

Kim; I’ve opened a blog on this platform; posted nothing worth looking at and am totally confused about everything but doing text. I hope get unconfused before I lose interest.

Do you have any interest in participating in a B&W challenge?
I am in search of a few people to invite. It requires 5 B&W photos over 5 days…and the task of inviting a different person each day.

Hello, I’ve been following your blog and have really enjoyed your photos and poetry. I just signed up for WordPress.com. Just getting my feet wet here. How do I add your URL link to my main page and how do I had my photo and/or poem to you site? My URL is: fusingphotoswithwords.wordpress.com.

Hi. Thanks for visiting. You can link your blog post to mine in two ways (that I know of): You can add a link to my post in yours by using the link tool and putting my url into that. You can also include a link to your blog in comments on mine. Have fun blogging!

What day of the week does your weekly challenge start on? I’m just wondering how soon I need to get my “texture” photo posted.

Hi Sonya. I post on Thursday night or Friday for the week, so technically anytime before the next Friday. But, honestly, anytime is great! Can’t wait to see your texture!

Hi Kim, I love your poem “Pandemic Shelter” about the dandelion. Is it okay to use the poem in our garden club yearbook? I think it has an amazing message.
Thanks for writing it and sharing it.
